People who want to work as beauticians typically complete a cosmetology or beauty school programme which includes instruction in skincare, nail care, makeup application and hair cutting, styling and colouring. These courses can be completed in as little as a few months or as long as two years and they can lead to a diploma or certification.

Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • The seekers are suggested to enrol for B.Sc. Beauty Cosmetology, BSc (Bachelor of Science), Beauty and Wellness, BA (Bachelor of Arts) from a recognised university or college.
  • The scholars are required to pass their secondary examination by scoring a minimum of 50% marks or more. 

For Master’s

  • Graduate students can apply for the M.Sc. Cosmetology to pursue higher studies. 
  • The students need to attend training sessions along with their studies.        

 For Diploma

  • The applicants can apply for Diploma in Cosmetology. 
  • Additionally, beauticians must attend training sessions in order to gain more experience.
