To become a lawyer, one typically needs to complete an undergraduate degree, followed by a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. 

After completing law school, aspiring lawyers must also pass the bar examination in the state where they wish to practise law. The duties of a lawyer can vary depending on their area of specialisation and work setting.Lawyers often work long and demanding hours, and the job can be stressful, especially in high-stakes legal cases. Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • The aspirants are required to pass the 12th grade exams with a 60% overall score or an equivalent CGPA.
  • Pass the law entrance exams at the university and national levels, such as CLAT and AILET.
  • Enrol in an integrated law degree, an LLB, a BA LLB, a BBA LLB, a BSc LLB, or a BCom LLB degree.

For Masters

  • The aspirant is required to pass bachelor’s degree LLB with at least 50% overall marks.
  • The students are required to pass the university entrance exam.
  • You can apply for an LLM master's degree programme to continue your education.
