A supply chain analyst is responsible for analysing and improving various aspects of a company's supply chain such as inventory control, logistics and manufacturing procedures. They use data analysis tools to identify areas for improvement in order to reduce costs, improve efficiency and overall performance. A supply chain analyst's primary responsibility is to collect and analyse data on supplier performance, inventory levels, transportation costs and other key metrics.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, logistics or operations research is typically required to become a supply chain analyst. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail as well as the ability to collaborate with others are also required for success in this role.

Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • Applicants must obtain a minimum of 50% on the 10+2 exam from an approved board.
  • Candidates must enrol in a Bachelor's degree programme that includes business analytics, logistics or a field related to supply chain management. 

 For Masters

  • Furthermore, the candidates must enrol in an MBA programme in supply chain management to develop top-tier management skills and land jobs with the best MNCs.
