Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private university located in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. It was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, under the Punjab State Private University Act. LPU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A+' grade.

LPU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral programs in various fields such as engineering, management, law, architecture, fashion, design, hotel management, education, pharmacy and many more. The university has 14 schools and over 30 departments offering more than 200 programs. The university has collaborations with over 400 universities and institutions in 50 countries, providing international exposure to its students.

LPU has a strong focus on entrepreneurship and innovation offering several programs and initiatives such as the Startup School, Idea Studio as well as Startup Mentorship Program to encourage students to become entrepreneurs and start their own ventures.
