Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is a private deemed university located in Pilani, Rajasthan, India. It was established in the year of 1964 by the late Mr. G.D. Birla. BITS Pilani has since grown rapidly to become one of the premier engineering and science universities in India and is recognized as an Institute of Eminence by the Government of India.

BITS Pilani offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programs in engineering, sciences, technology, pharmacy, management as well as humanities. The institute has three campuses in India located in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

As per the official data released by BITS Pilani for the placement season of 2020-2021, around 91% of the eligible students across all programs received job offers from various recruiters.
