Eligibility

BCECE Board shares the entry-level qualification for each diploma/degree for all streams as below:

		<li style="list-style-type:circle">Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship as per table 1.</li>
		<li style="list-style-type:circle">Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR</li>
		<li style="list-style-type:circle">Passed min.3 years diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.</li>

Exam Pattern

BCECE 2023 is a pen and paper based entrance exam for engineering, medical, and agricultural courses in Bihar, India. The exam assesses knowledge in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Agricultural Sciences.  Depending on the chosen course you want to apply for, you can select the subjects you want to attempt in the BCECE examination. The BCECE question paper comprising the questions based on intermediate level (I.Sc/+ 2/I.Sc. Agri.), will have sections from the following group of subjects.

Application Procedure

Steps for BCECE 2023 Registration

Follow the below-mentioned steps to carefully fill the application form. Use CAPITAL LETTERS to fill each detail in the application form except self-declaration and signature:

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Step 2: Click the ‘New Registration’</h3>

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Step 3: As the login page appears, enter the required details like Selection of the course group, Name, Date of birth, Email Id, Mobile No. etc.</h3>

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Step 4: Now, hit the ‘Sign up’ button. You will receive an ‘Activation Code’ in your registered E-mail Id and mobile number. </h3>

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Step 5: Then, visit the Applicant Login screen and click the ‘Activate Your Account’ button</h3>

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Step 6: Enter the activation code received on your mobile. Your account will be activated and you can login using your credentials.</h3>

Step 7: The application form will appear on screen. Furnish your personal information including Name of the father/Guardian, mother, Mark of identification, Gender and so forth.

Step 8: After filling all the required details, you must save the application form to go to the next step.

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Step 9: Upload your scanned copies of recent photographs (Photograph must be clicked from front with a placard having your name and date of clicking the photo) and signature as per prescribed format. The date of getting your photo should not be before 01.01.2023.</h3>

Step 10: Give your previous educational details (10/+2)

Step 11: Preview your application form before final submission.

Step 12: Use the "Edit" button if you find any mistake in the details entered by you and then click on "Update".

Step 13: If all of your details are correct, then skip step 12 and simply hit the save button, agree to the declaration and submit the form.

Step 14: Pay the prescribed registration fee either through the online mode or the bank challan.

Step 15: You need to download both the parts (Part A and Part B) of your application form.

Note: There is no need to send the form to the BCECEB office. However, you have to safely keep it for your reference as it may be required to submit during counseling.

Required Documents

You need to have the following documents ready before filling the BCECE 2023 application form:
