An astronaut also known as a space explorer is a person well-trained, prepared, and deployed by a human spaceflight program to serve as a commander or a part of a group that is to on board a spacecraft. In spite of the fact that it is generally saved for proficient space travelers, the term is in some cases connected to anyone who voyages into space, counting researchers, lawmakers, writers, and visitors. "Space explorer" in fact applies to all human space travelers in any case of nationality.

Having interest and observing every detail of outer space is not enough knowledge for you to become an astronaut. However, there are two types of astronauts which are, Mission Specialist Astronaut and Pilot Astronaut.

On the basis of Gender

  • Both the genders are able to become astronauts and there is no age limit in this field. 

On the basis of Physical & Medical

  • To become an astronaut you need to be physically & mentally healthy. 

On the basis of Educational Qualification

  • Possess a Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD Degree in Aeronautical engineering or STEM field.
