A nurse is a healthcare professional who is trained and licensed to take care of patients in a variety of settings. Nurses work in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, schools and other healthcare facilities. Moreover, they are responsible for a wide range of duties related to patient care.

Some of the primary responsibilities of nurses include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, providing emotional support to patients and their families as well as communicating with other members of the healthcare team. Nurses also play an important role in educating patients and their families about their health conditions and how to manage them. There are many different types of nurses including registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nurse practitioners (NPs). Each type of nurse has a different level of education along with training and their responsibilities may vary depending on their level of experience and the specific healthcare setting in which they work.

Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • Students must have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the Science stream.
  • Aspirants can opt for a bachelor’s degree in the science field.
  • To get an admission in the UG Program, scholars need to pass entrance exams. 

For Master’s

  • Undergraduates can go further for a Master’s degree in science fields.
  • Some universities may require entrance exams for PG Program as well.
