A Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring that it runs efficiently and profitability. Their responsibilities include managing staff, creating work schedules, monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies and maintaining customer satisfaction. They also manage finances and budget including monitoring expenses, creating cost controlling as well as ensuring revenue targets are met.

Additionally, they may collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items and ensure that food quality and presentation are consistently high. Furthermore, a restaurant manager also has to ensure that all safety and health regulations are being followed along with maintaining a clean and safe working environment for both customers and staff.  


  • Students can either go for a bachelor’s degree in hotel management, diploma or certification course.
  • Candidates need to have an expertise in Microsoft Office Application and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). 
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in management is required.
  • Some colleges/universities may require scholars to pass entrance exams in order to give admission in UG or PG Program.
  • No age limit is required.
