Tea Tasting is a procedure by which a trained taster gets to know the quality of a specific tea. Tea is manufactured all over the world, a tester always considers topography, climatic conditions, production, preparation and assesses the distinctive types of Camellia sinensis. All teas are made from one plant ‘Camellia sinensis’ , be it white tea, oolong tea, black tea and green tea. The manufacturing preparation of each tea is distinctive in terms of enhancement and taste.

Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • Aspirants have to pass 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture from any recognised board. 
  • For the UG Program, students can opt for a Bachelor's degree in horticulture, botany, agricultural science, home science or food technology. 

For Masters

  • Scholars need to pass their bachelor’s course with at least 60% marks.
