A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year technical course that covers the fundamental concepts along with principles of mechanical engineering. This 3-year course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of mechanical engineering such as thermodynamics, mechanics, materials science, manufacturing and design.

Educational Qualification

  • Students must have completed their 10th or 10+2 
  • Scholars must have scored at least 60% of total marks

Age Limit

Applicants should be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission.

Entrance Examination

Some institutions may require applicants to appear for an entrance exam such as JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) or state-level engineering entrance exams.

Direct Admission

In some colleges, direct admission is also possible for candidates who have a certain minimum percentage on their 10th class or 10+2 examination.
