The NTA has declared the exam dates for NTA JEE Mains 2024 on jeemain.nta.nic.in/. According to the schedule, session 1 of JEE Main will take place from January 24 to February 01, 2024; while session 2 is slated for April 1 to 15, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the comprehensive notification for NTA JEE Main 2024 online. Aspiring candidates should regularly check the official IIT JEE Mains website for updates on admissions. 

To participate in this examination, candidates must complete the online registration process for JEE Main 2024. Additionally, it is advisable to review the previous year's JEE Main syllabus to prepare effectively for the NTA exam in 2024. JEE Main 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to publish the online eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2024. The IIT JEE eligibility requirements for 2024 will be included in the information brochure. These criteria encompass various aspects including age limits, educational qualifications, admission prerequisites, and more, all of which candidates must satisfy to participate in the NTA JEE Main 2024 examination. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognised board.

Year of Passing the Qualifying Examination

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2022, 2023 or are appearing for it in 2024 will only be eligible for JEE Main 2024.

Number of Subjects in the Qualifying Exam

Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject, or any other subject

Admission Criteria for IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs

For admissions in B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Plan programs, candidates should either have a minimum of 75% marks (with a relaxation to 65% for SC/ST category candidates) or should rank within the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. 

For B.Arch admissions in institutes other than IIITs, NITs, and CFITs, a 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or its equivalent is required.

The Mathematics section will comprise 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 10 questions where the answer is a numerical value. Candidates are required to answer 5 out of the 10 numerical value questions.

In the Aptitude Test section, there will be 50 MCQs.

JEE Main 2024: Syllabus

The JEE Main 2024 syllabus will be available shortly by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on jeemain.nta.nic.in/. In general, for the Paper 1 (BE/BTech) entrance examination, candidates are required to cover the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from both Class 11th and 12th. Whereas, in Paper 2A that is for Architecture (BArch), the syllabus encompasses Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing. For Paper 2B (BPlan), candidates should focus on Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Planning topics.

JEE Mains 2024: Registration Form

The official website will soon release the online JEE Main application form for 2024. The date for the availability of the JEE Main 2024 application form has not been announced by the NTA yet. The application form for JEE Main 2024 will be accessible exclusively through online channels. The process for applying to JEE Mains 2024 encompasses registration, application form completion, document uploading, and payment of the application fee. Candidates who meet the stipulated eligibility criteria will be eligible for JEE Main registration in 2024.
