The NMAT registration 2023 started on August 1, 2023, on the official website, www.mba.com/ . Along with the registration dates, the association that manages the NMAT, called the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), has shared the exam dates for NMAT as well. Interested candidates can apply for the exam before the last date i.e. October 10th.

About NMAT

NMAT stands for the "Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Management Aptitude Test." It is a national-level entrance examination conducted by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) for admission to various management programs offered by NMIMS and other B-schools in India.

The NMAT exam assesses a candidate's quantitative, verbal, and logical reasoning skills. It's a computer-based test. This provides flexibility for candidates to choose a convenient slot for their exam.

The scores obtained in NMAT are accepted by a number of prominent business schools in India, including NMIMS Mumbai, Xavier University Bhubaneswar, and others.

NMAT 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Institutions that consider NMAT scores for admissions have their own set of criteria for eligibility. With over 49 business schools worldwide accepting NMAT scores, there might be variations in the specific criteria of each institute. It is recommended that candidates verify the eligibility requirements of the particular institute they are interested in admissions through NMAT 2023.

Regarding the qualifying exam, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (regardless of the field of study). As for the score in the Qualifying Exam, candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate of 50 percent in their undergraduate degree examinations.

NMAT 2023: Exam Pattern

In NMAT 2023, candidates have the option of choosing between two online modes: Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Internet-Based Test (IBT). Candidates who opt for IBT mode can take the test from the comfort of their home, in a remotely proctored environment; if not then go for the listed centers for CBT that are provided in the official notification of the exam. 

• The NMAT 2023 question paper will comprise 108 multiple-choice questions to be solved within a 2-hour timeframe. 
• Each section - Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning will have a designated time limit. 
• Specifically, there will be 36 questions in each section.
• There will be no negative marking for incorrect attempts.

Steps to Fill NMAT Registration Form 2023

Step 1: Visit the Official Website www.mba.com/exams/nmat 

Step 2: Click on the available link ‘Register for NMAT by GMAC’ or click on the ‘Already Registered? Login Here’ if already have registered. 

Step 3: Enter the following details (Name, Email and Password) to create an account on www.mba.com/.

Step 4: Select your communication preference (this step is optional), if you want your profile to be shared with business schools or other organizations.

Step 5: Now, you can subscribe to the latest news and updates sent by GMAC (this is also an optional step). 

Step 6: You can skip step 4 and 5, if you want and directly jump to this step. Here, fill the captcha and then click on ‘Create an Account’.

Step 7: Now you will be prompted to ‘Manage NMAT Profile’. On this page, you need to enter your mobile number, select the country where you would like to give the test and finally, agree to the given message followed by hitting the submit button.  

Step 8: Verify your Email ID through the link received in your mail inbox.

Step 9: After verifying your Email, access your account using the login button. 

Step 10: On the login dashboard, select the option labeled 'NMAT by GMAC Dashboard.'

Step 11: Fill out the application form by entering the personal information. Then, upload a passport-sized photograph and proceed by clicking the 'next' button.

Step 12: Provide the contact information, including alternative contact details, communication address, and permanent address. Afterward, click the 'next' button to move forward.

Step 13: Fill out the educational background and work experience (if any) information, then proceed by selecting the 'Next' button.

Step 14: Enter school preferences, and then move to include additional information about alternative MBA exams.

Step 15: Assess all the information provided in the NMAT application form, then go ahead to make the payment for the NMAT registration fee.
