A garment technologist is a professional who is responsible for the design and development of clothing. They work with a variety of textiles and fabrics to create new styles as well as designs and must be familiar with the latest fashion trends. Additionally, garment technologists must be able to understand the needs of the consumer and create clothing that is both stylish and functional.


For Bachelor’s

  • Aspirants need to pass 10+2 in Science stream with at least 50% marks from any recognised board. 
  • Seekers need to pass JEE Mains or JEE Advanced to get admission in top-ranked universities for the UG Program. 
  • Students can select either B.Tech in Textile Engineering or Fashion/Leather Technology. BE or B.Voc in Textile Technology are also a great option. 

For Masters

  • Candidates can choose M.Tech or M.Voc in Textile Technology or related fields.
