Registration Process

The application process for all IBPS exams will be conducted online only. Candidates will be required to register through the official IBPS website. For most posts, there will be a single registration for both Preliminary and Main examinations. That means applicants won’t need to register twice.

During the online application process, candidates must upload several documents. Make sure to keep these files ready in the specified formats:

  1. Photograph: File size should be between 20 KB and 50 KB in JPEG format.
  2. Signature: File size should be between 10 KB and 20 KB in JPEG format.
  3. Thumb Impression: File size should be between 20 KB and 50 KB in JPEG format.
  4. Handwritten Declaration: This must be written in the candidate’s own handwriting (format will be available in the official notification). File size should be between 50 KB and 100 KB in JPEG format.

Additionally, while submitting the form, candidates will be required to capture and upload a live photograph for verification purposes. This is a new step introduced by IBPS to ensure authenticity in the registration process.

Important Points to Note

  • The exam calendar released by IBPS is tentative, which means the dates may change due to unforeseen reasons such as administrative requirements, government advisories, or court decisions.
  • IBPS has clearly mentioned that it reserves the right to modify the exam schedule and the selection process if needed.
  • Aspirants are advised to regularly visit the official website — ibps.in — for updates, notifications, and changes related to the examination process.

Why the IBPS Calendar Matters?

The IBPS calendar plays a vital role for candidates who are preparing for bank jobs. Knowing the exam dates in advance allows them to:
